Current engineering education embarks on policies of linking traditional structures of the engineering education with new structures for technology transfer and liaison with industry. Papers are solicited on the subject of new priorities for engineering education, which would identify factors that influence the functioning of the university engineering education system as one of the key interfaces in the innovation structures of the knowledge-based environmentally oriented economies worldwide.
Topics for discussions embrace essential aspects of engineering education restructuring and a focus on change. They include but are not limited to planning, financing, implementation and documentation of introduction and incorporation of innovation related and entrepreneurially oriented programmes into the overall body of university engineering education.
