Papers are solicited on the broad range of efforts to introduce, recruit and educate individuals from underrepresented groups into fields of engineering. Topics include K-12 programs, to introduce students to careers in engineering, and undergraduate and graduate educational and support programs to meet the goal of broadening diversity in the university environment.
This conference emphasizes development of international partnerships in education and research. Through special sessions and international workshops, it provides ample opportunity for discussing future cooperative projects.
