International Conference on
Engineering Education and Research
iCEER-2004
CALL FOR PAPERS
Many countries are developing digital libraries (DL) for anytime-anyplace information. These DL can be used not only as a store-house of information but for virtual instruction in engineering and other disciplines. The US National Science Foundation is spending many millions of dollars on creating a National Science Digital Library (NSDL). One of the libraries within NSDL is dealing with engineering (www.grow.arizona.edu) and specifically creating learning objects that can be used for engineering education.
Papers are invited that relate broadly to recent developments and application in digital libraries around the world. Specifically, the session seeks to bring together a review and assessment of recent developments in digital libraries around the world so as to enhance learning and application in their engineering curriculum.
