Dear Colleagues,
As 2000 draws to a close, I extend to you Season's Greetings and best wishes for the New Year.
I want also to thank you for your advice and support throughout the past year.
Thanks to our hardworking webmaster, Dr. Radim Farana of VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, the new iNEER website has been redesigned. New information has been posted, and the website is being continually updated. Please visit it at http://www.ineer.org.
The interactive Directory in the iNEER website is an information exchange system that now has several hundred entries, possibly including your own. You may browse through the entire listing by countries and contact anyone on the list by e-mail by simply clicking your mouse. To enable others to contact you, if you have not done so, please enter and/or update information about your interests in international cooperation in research and education. It is a simple process and takes only a few minutes. Instructions are now posted on the website.
If there is an item relevant to the international engineering education and research community that you would like to post on the iNEER website, please let me know.
As a reminder for those of you who are planning to submit abstracts for ICEE-2001 (Oslo, Norway, August 6-10, 2001: http://www-pors.hit.no/tf/icee01/iceesc.htm), the deadline is January 15, 2001. Trond Clausen tells me that abstracts are coming in at a fast pace. Hope you can join us.
